I'm a Tulsa, Oklahoma wedding photographer who values emotion, in-between moments, and the little details. But above all else, I believe the true beauty of a wedding comes from human connection. You and your partner, your families, friends who flew in from out of town, all of you together in one place for one day. My goal as a photographer is to capture what that actually feels like, stepping back when I should and stepping in when it matters.
I picked up my first camera in 2018 for a mission trip to Costa Rica, and that trip is where my love of travel actually started. At the time I was studying molecular biology and chemistry at Rogers State University, with no plans of doing photography for a living. I was a resident assistant in the dorms, and two of my former residents, who met freshman year in the same building, asked me to photograph their wedding. That first wedding turned into a second, then a third, and eventually into Kamryn Bennett Photography.
I started shooting weddings in 2022, and since then I've been present for over 100 weddings, elopements, and celebrations of all kinds. Every one of them has taught me something about anticipating a moment before it happens and being ready for it.
I love the unexpected moments most: a dog as ring bearer in a tiny tux, pizza instead of cake, everyone jumping into the pool still dressed up. But whether your day is full of traditions or completely your own, I just want it to feel like you.
